Broadcast in the United States on the premium channel Showtime, the series follows the life of a suburban housewife with dissociative identity disorder. It premiered on January 18, 2009. The pilot, written by Cody and directed by Craig Gillespie, is available for viewing on Showtime's official website. Toni Collette won the 2009 Primetime Emmy Award for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role, while the title sequence also won an Emmy.
