This is a fun show with quirky characters and a writer's self-reflection, which I've always found thought-provoking.

Good ensemble dramadies are not easily created, and "Men in Trees" has more heart and earnest insight than most.
And it's worth noting that, as is the case with "Men in Trees," "Christine" has a female creator as well as many female fans.
