disappointing

I was disappointed in this episode. After last years excellent cliffhanger, I expected more in the season opener. To go through all that rigamarole, and then just stick him in a situation like all of last years, was quite a let... Full review

Guns Ammo and Gabrielle Anwar.Who could ask for more.and the pace is cracklin'. I still think they should get Richard Edson on the show at some point he could play such a great Miami Scumbag. I love that guy. This show... Full review

This series is one of the best of the year. Michael Donovan is perfect as the Sparta## Ex-Spy turned good guy. I love watching him try to struggle through the emotions of his clients. His relationship with his mother is very... Full review

Very fun, tho' the voice-overs are a bit much at times... and the music/slow-mo/stop-mo action stuff is a bit kitsch (probably the look they were going for). Def. think Donovan's personality comes through in his performance -- seems like he is... Full review

When I first heard of the show I didn't know what to think. But then I heard that Bruce was apart of the show so I decided that the whole family should watch. And so we did. And now I crave... Full review

When I found out that Bruce Campbell was only in a supporting role I thought this was going to be just another USA ripoff. I was wrong. In this incredibly overworked genre Burn Notice is something refreshingly new. The Mom and... Full review

By the end of the first show, the 1-1/2 hour premier, I was hooked. Donovan (remember him from The Pretender?) is charismatic and believable as the spy left out in the cold. I was pleasantly surprised to see Gabrielle Anwar. She... Full review

USA is the best there is right now for original new television shows. Burn Notice is my new favorite. To me the top TV series right now include Monk, Burn Notice and Psych, among the traditional network giants such as Criminal... Full review

This show has stylish, cheaply made and lots of fun. Donovan has a lot of charisma but Bruce Campbell and the other supporting cast really make this show pop. Miami is great location for this show. In the future it would... Full review

Last week I mostly wrote a general appreciation of what Burn Notice does well, but I can't really fall back on that with every episode. But even though the case petered out, it was still one of Burn Notice 's strongest, because it helped underscore what it is Michael and his crew really do. ... Full Review

Covert Ops 2.0 not only builds on the adrenaline-fueled adventures the fans loved from the original game, but also includes seven new video-based missions featuring the recurring Burn Notice character Seymour (Silas Weir Mitchell). As Michael gets deeper into the conspiracy about who burned him, and as he and ex-girlfriend Fiona (Anwar) reconsider their feelings for each other, "Burn Notice" still shows off its summertime glow. Donovan is so winning while playing the confident, cool version of Michael that you don't expect to hear him screaming at Carla for information, or wincing after a fight, but he gives Michael gravity while still allowing the show around him to be charmingly lightweight. ...
